Tournaments

We are going to start having rifle and pistol tournaments every other Saturday starting in September, 2021!  We will start them at 8AM signing people in and will start shooting at 8:30AM.  It's only a $10 ENTRY FEE for each tournament with $5 going back to prize money.

October 9th
October 23rd
November 6th (Turkey Shoot!)
November 20th (Turkey Shoot!)
December 4th
December 18th (Christmas Gift Shoot)

The tournament will be an OPEN tournament.  Bring what you shoot with the best!!! The competition will be held as follows:

Rifle

Shooter will have 10 (ten) rounds to shoot at either 50/100/200 yards.

50-Yards will be scored as described below.  100-Yards will be scored 1.5 times the value of the target and 200-Yards will be scored 2 times the value of the target.

     EXAMPLE

     Shooter 1 shoots at the 50-yard target with all 10 rounds and gets all bullseyes!  Their score would be 100 points!!

     Shooter 2 shoots at the 50-yard target with only 5 rounds and gets all bullseyes.  Then they shoot 5 rounds at the 200-yard and get all bullseyes. 
     They would get 50 points for the 50-yard hits and 100 points for the 200-yard hits.  Their score would be 150 points!

Pistol

Shooter will have 10 (ten) rounds to shoot at either 5/10/15 yards.

5-Yards will be scored as described below.  10-Yards will be scored 1.5 times the value of the target and 15-Yards will be scored 2 times the value of the target.

      EXAMPLE

      Shooter 1 shoots at the 5-yard target with all 10 rounds and gets all bullseyes!  Their score would be 100 points!!

      Shooter 2 shoots at the 5-yard target with only 5 rounds and gets all bullseyes.  Then they shoot 5 rounds at the 15-yard target and gets all bullseyes. 
      They would get 50 points for the 5-yard hits and 100 points for the 15-yard hits.  Their score would be 150 points!

Scoring

All scoring will be computed by the Range Safety Officer (RSO) on site.  Scoring will be as follows:

50-Yard and 5-Yard Targets will be scored as shown below for each area of the target.

100-Yard and 10-Yard targets will have a value of 1.5 times the value shown below.

200-Yard and 15-Yard targets will have a value of 2 times the value shown below.

Any hit that falls on a line will be determined by the RSO in which area they feel has the

most damage.  If it falls perfectly on the line, the higher value will be awarded.
